Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Vako. Accounts created by anyone under 13 will be removed.
The rules
- Respect other users. Punch up, not down. Disagree without being nasty.
- No harassment or bullying. No targeted abuse, dogpiling, doxxing or stalking.
- No hate speech. Nothing that dehumanises people based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, nationality or ethnicity.
- No explicit sexual content. Vako is not an adult platform.
- No graphic violence. Gore, real-world injury or death.
- No illegal content. Including CSAM, terrorism, hard drug sales, weapons trafficking.
- No spam. No repetitive posting, engagement bait, fake reactions or bot activity.
- Respect copyright. Credit creators. Don't repost stolen memes as your own.
- Use the right categories. Post memes in the right hoods and library sections.
- Report, don't engage. Use the report button on anything that breaks these rules instead of piling on.
Moderation actions
When rules are broken, Vako moderators may take one or more of these actions:
- Warning — a heads-up so you can course-correct.
- Meme removal — the offending post is taken down.
- Meme Power deduction — MP earned from removed or fraudulent content is revoked.
- Temporary suspension — your account is paused for a set period.
- Permanent ban — for repeated violations or severe single incidents (illegal content, doxxing, coordinated abuse).
Appeals
If you think a moderation action is a mistake, contact vakoappofficial@gmail.com with your username and a short description. We review appeals within 7 days.
